Today we're sharing information about the Artistic Programme at Eden Court. This comes a year after starting a dialogue with artists and companies across Scotland, and some further afield, about their relationship with us.
The information we're sharing today sits in a space somewhere between a set of values, a set of promises and a set of ambitions. It shares what we believe in and what we want for artists and audiences.

Artistic Programme + Supporting/Engaging Artists
We programme live performance, film and visual art. You can find out more about this on our Information for Artists + Companies page.
We're also announcing today a major grant from Bòrd na Gàidhlig to undertake a transformational project to strengthen our relationship with the Gaelic/Trad'/Celtic artistic community. We will soon start recruitment for a Producer, Gaelic & Traditional Arts to join our team.
We will be more transparent about how we programme. We will be developing ways to engage artists in our programming processes. We also want to make getting to know us easier (we're super friendly & Skype is great but you can't beat face-to-face).
Come meet us at one of the events in Spring 2019:
| City | Venue | Date + time |
|---|---|---|
| London | Theatre Trust Resource Centre | Tuesday 9 April, 11:00 – 17:00 |
| Glasgow | Tron Theatre | Thursday 2 May, 10:00 – 16:00 |
| Edinburgh | Lyceum Theatre | Friday 3 May, 10:00 – 15:00 |
| Inverness | Eden Court Theatre | Friday 17 May, 10:00 – 16:00 |
Call for Associates
We’re on the look-out for artists & theatre professionals based in Glasgow, Edinburgh & London who can see work on our behalf. We get invited to lots but often can't make it (⏰/💷) so we'd like to find some folk who can do that for us.
Again, you can find more details on our Information for Artists + Companies page.
Over the last year I have met incredible, passionate artists and makers based in the Highlands and Islands. This feels like the most special and vital announcement today. Have a look at our Supporting Highland Artists document for more information.
Eden Court will support our local talent, with access to: space, decision-making, tickets, favourable financial deals, advocacy – and each other. So there we are: Theatres, Cinemas, Galleries and Classes. In a building spanning three centuries. In Inverness. Across the Highlands.
