Chief ExecutiveRebecca is an award-winning arts venue leader who believes that creativity can play a transformative role for people and communities. She grew up in the West Midlands before studying and working in London for fifteen years.
As Executive Director of Battersea Arts Centre, Rebecca was instrumental in shaping the organisation’s strategy, finances and artistic ambition, as well as playing a leading role in the building’s capital redevelopment (which won a number of accolades, including RIBA National Award 2019, RIBA London Client of the Year Award 2019 and Civic Trust Conservation Award 2020).

In January 2022 Battersea Arts Centre won The Stage award for Theatre of the Year.
Whilst in London, Rebecca was also a Trustee of Polka children’s theatre and a Director of the London Theatre Consortium. Rebecca gave up these positions upon her relocation to the Highlands and aims to find new Trustee positions within Scotland.
Rebecca took up the role of Chief Executive at Eden Court in March 2022 and lives in Inverness with her partner. Rebecca feels immensely privileged to have been entrusted with the role of Chief Executive at Eden Court and thanks everyone she has met so far for such a warm Highland welcome.
