Producing

Our producing work has three distinct but interconnected strands.

  • We collaborate with artists and companies to produce work for Highland audiences
  • We produce our own summer music festival Under Canvas
  • We support artists living and/or working in the Highlands and Islands

We want to collaborate with artists with diverse backgrounds, lived experiences and artforms. We prioritise working with:

  • Artists living and/or working in the Highlands and Islands
  • Disabled artists
  • Artists who identify as LGBTQIA+
  • Artists from lower socio-economic backgrounds and/or living in areas of social deprivation
  • Artists working with Gaelic
  • Artists from the global majority
Under Canvas

Eden Court produces its own outdoor music festival every July and August. The festival predominantly focuses on traditional and acoustic music, with a series of special events each year. We programme Under Canvas through a combination of invitations and open call.

Watch this space for our call for artists for Under Canvas 2024.

We endeavour to offer as many opportunities as we can through open calls advertised on our website and through other industry channels such as Creative Scotland Opportunities.

Our Producing department is a small but dedicated team and we welcome connection with artists through producing@eden-court.co.uk but cannot guarantee feedback on unsolicited scripts.

Our producing work is generously supported by the Banister family.
