Climate of Hope
Climate of Hope is our new programme of events, running from 24 Sep – 13 Nov 2021, bearing witness to COP26; the decisive upcoming UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow. This season promises to highlight environmental issues and engage with the climate crisis through a lens of hope and action.
In the spirit of urgency and accessibility all events in the programme will be either free or pay what you can.
LIVE PERFORMANCES engaging with the climate crisis include Born to Protest and Burnt Out.
DIGITAL PERFORMANCE brings a dynamic theatre project into your own home in Anthropocene: The Human Era – a climate crisis-themed multiple-choice adventure.
ON SCREEN Eden Court hosts 5 films from the Take One Action Festival, the UK’s leading global change film festival, and 4 films from the UK Green Film Festival bringing the best environmental documentaries to Inverness audiences.
GET INVOLVED Climate of Hope also offers many opportunities to get involved, including creative writing (Write the Waves, Postal Connections), and climate themed activities in Holiday Happenings from Home.
JOIN US Eden Court invites audiences and allies to mark the opening of the COP26 climate negotiations in Frame the Change, featuring a cast of community performers, bearing witness and demanding climate action.
